“Such exhibitions showcase the priorities a state has set in the course of its development. These photos are very interesting for tourists as they make them familiar with unique Belarusian culture and traditions. But such exhibitions are also informative for Belarusians themselves as they tell them more about their country and remind them about its rich history they should be proud of,” Aleksei Shlyakov said.
The photo exhibition Traditions of Sovereign Belarus was organized by BelTA ahead of the Belarusian Written Language Day. It displayed 48 photos and collages based on BelTA's namesake book that had been presented at the 27th edition of the Minsk International Book Fair in February 2020.
The exhibition was on display in the culture center in Belynichi on 5-6 September.
