«Previously, this publication was only available in libraries. It was not available for general sale. Now anyone can open the atlas online, quickly find the necessary information, and zoom in on objects if necessary,» the press service explained.
As reported, the updated and expanded edition of the National Atlas of Belarus (Belkartography) won the Triumph Grand Prix of the 64th National Book Art Competition. The atlas consists of 20 sections that provide a comprehensive overview of the Belarusian state: history, culture, industry, agriculture, and Belarusian dialects. This unique work has been in development since 2022, involving more than 400 specialists from various fields of science and practice. Representatives of more than 50 government organizations contributed to the publication.
