CHISINAU, 8 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Moldavian commission for sci-tech cooperation will hold its third meeting in Chisinau in 2013, BelTA learnt from Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Belarusian National Fundamental Research Fund, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Valentin Orlovich. A preliminary agreement on the third meeting was reached during a visit of the Belarusian delegation to Moldova to partake in the regional international conference, Assessment of scientific projects as a basis for improving results of the research, that took place in Chisinau on 6 November. Valentin Orlovich noted that the agenda of the third meeting of the Belarusian-Moldavian commission for sci-tech cooperation would include the discussions of the completed projects, consideration of new projects, inducing the prospects of implementing joint projects within the EU programs. Valentin Orlovich stressed that the Belarusian and Moldavian scientists are complementary, especially in agriculture, winemaking, food issues and plant protection. The first meeting of the joint commission was held in Chisinau on 19-20 December 2006, the second – in Minsk in October 2007. БЕЛТА
