MINSK, June 2 (BelTA) – The international specialized exhibition Power engineering. Ecology. Energy-saving. Electro 2009 will be held in Minsk on October 13-16. The relevant directive has been signed by Belarusian Premier Sergei Sidorsky, BelTA learnt from the Office of the Council of Ministers. The organizational committee of the forum is led by Belarusian Energy Minister Alexander Ozerets. The committee is composed of representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, communal services, the State Standardization Committee, the State Committee for Science and Technology, the National Academy of Sciences, the Minsk City Council and other organizations. The annual energy and ecological forum is aimed to showcase cutting-edge energy production equipment, advanced energy and resource saving technology. This exhibition is among the biggest forums of this kind in the CIS and Baltic states. In 2008, about 300 companies and organizations from 16 countries took part in the forum. БЕЛТА
