IPO «Ecoproject Partnership» invites non-profit organizations in Minsk region to participate in the pilot projects on waste management. From February 1 to 28 applications are accepted to participate in the competition of projects valued at less than 9900 Euro.
The funds for the project in the field of waste management can obtain government agencies, such as district and village executive committees, hospitals, institutions of secondary and further education of children and youth, as well as garden associations, garage cooperatives, condominiums apartment buildings, public organizations . Bidders must be and carry out their activities in Minsk Oblast (excluding Minsk).
- The purpose of the contest is to attract the public concerned Minsk region to address local problems of waste management through the development and implementation of pilot projects - says the chairman of the IPO "Ecoproject Partnership" Julia Jablonskaya. - Pilot projects should solve local problems of waste management. We expect that the projects will include activities such as development and implementation of separate collection systems, development and implementation of programs for the prevention or reduction of waste, re-use, the introduction of composting, an awareness of the public on waste management.
