For five years the scientists have done a lot: debug process of production of lactoferrin, the most modern equipment to equip the laboratory, where work is underway with the gene constructs, enhanced through breeding, transgenic herd productivity. As of September this year, the Council of Ministers of the Union State planned adoption of the third phase of the program. "This stage involves work on the specific application of lactoferrin, further study of its properties, the development and testing of biological additives and medicines based on it, said Ivan Sheiko. - It is also necessary to finish the farm on 250 goals to increase the dairy herd and expand the production of lactoferrin". For the realization of the planned need a lot of money, and that the Union State program offers a unique opportunity for scientists to continue working with transgenic animals, mastering the most advanced technology to date.
