Families raising three or more children enrolled in institutions of general and specialized secondary education, provided assistance to prepare for the new school year at a rate of up to 30% of the minimum subsistence level for each student, told the committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of Minsk City Executive.
It is planned that will help more than 8.6 thousand. Pupils from large families, for these purposes will be allocated about Br2,4 billion. Besides, the committee noted, low-income families could be provided to the state targeted social assistance. Also, financial support to families in preparing children for September 1 can have in the workplace.
The committee added that in order to support families with children of school age, the new school year with all the territorial centers of social services for the population of Minsk region declared charity events and marathons collection of stationery, school supplies, clothes and shoes, money.
