 In the Minsk region in January-April, 104 thousand sq. M of the total area of ​​housing for citizens registered for those who need to improve their living conditions was introduced, which is 31% of the total volume of housing, BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
The total volume of commissioning of housing in the Minsk region in January-April amounted to 335.9 thousand square meters. Out of this number, 68.9 thousand sq. M were constructed with the use of state support, 46.9 thousand sq. M in multi-apartment houses in the cities.
During this period, organizations of all forms of ownership in the region built 3 thousand new apartments. In rural settlements 218,1 thousand square meters of the total area of ​​housing was put into operation.
The construction industry of the Minsk region has practically fulfilled the half-year task on the volumes of housing commissioning during the first quarter. In January-June, the region needs to enter 30% of the area from the number planned for the current year. In January-March this figure was 28.8%. The Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee predicts that a nine-month assignment may be completed following the results of the second quarter.
In 2017, the Minsk region is expected to build 972 thousand square meters of housing.
