Mobile speed sensors will operate in the Minsk region from March 26 to April 1, the relevant information is posted on the website of the UGAI Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, BelTA informs.

An analysis of the accident rate on the territory of the Minsk region indicates that the level of road traffic injuries associated with the excess of drivers' speed of movement is characterized by a rather high severity of consequences and has a large public resonance, "the traffic police underlined. During the two months of 2018, due to speeding, 32 road accidents were committed, as a result of which 3 people were killed and 35 injured. In total, the traffic police officers of the region for this period revealed more than 2.6 thousand facts of speeding by drivers.
