The new director is a familiar face. Vladimir Pototsky’s appointment is a logical continuation of his many years of service at the company. His career is a clear example of his growth from a rank-and-file specialist to a manager.
He began his career at Staritsa-Agro in the summer of 2006 as an assistant to the site manager. Within a few months, having proven himself, he became an agronomist.
He then served for over seven years as deputy head of the production site.
From 2007 to 2015, Vladimir Anatolyevich served as deputy head of Production Site No. 1, where he gained invaluable experience in fieldwork and divisional management. Since 2015, he has been the chief agronomist at Staritsa-Agro OJSC.
He then moved into general management positions. Two years later, he was appointed First Deputy Director, and from 2018 to 2023, he oversaw key operations as Deputy Director for Crop Production. He was subsequently promoted to Deputy Director and Head of the Crop Production Department.
As Sergey Pilishchik noted, this experience allows the new director to deeply understand the specifics and needs of the farm. His primary objectives remain improving operational efficiency and strengthening Staritsa-Agro’s economic performance.
