MINSK, March 11 (BelTA) – In 2008, 665 small enterprises were set up in small and middle towns of the Minsk oblast, BelTA learnt in the economy department of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee. The new enterprises employed more than 3.4 thousand people. Among the registered enterprises, specialists noted BelReis (Dzerzhinsk, freight traffic), TM-StroiPlast (Dzerzhinsk, foam plastic production), Autoprestige AB (Uzda, drivers training) and others. The Logoisk-based enterprise GofroMIR (corrugate paper and cardboard production) employed 22 people. In 2009, TriplePharm intends to finish the construction of the plant which will produce the sterile antibiotics third and fourth generation which will meet the best foreign analogues. The new enterprise will employ 45 professionals. All in all, around 2.4 thousand small enterprises operated in the Minsk oblast in 2008. Their number increased owing to the adopted laws aimed at creating the favourable conditions for economic activity of small private enterprises. БЕЛТА
