SMOLEVICHI, 6 July (BelTA) – A roadside hotel with a four-star category will be constructed not far from the Minsk national airport by 2013, director of the Agorabel company Lyudmila Nichvayuk told media on 6 July. The head of the real estate developer addressed Chairman of the Minsk oblast executive committee Boris Batura during his reception of Smolevichi residents with a request for assistance in promoting the project, BelTA has learnt. This motorway service facility will be located at the crossing of M-1 and M-2 highways. The hotel will have 97 rooms, including 5 suites, a swimming pool, a sauna and a restaurant. Besides, the project envisages the construction of separate wooden houses within the area. Greenplaza Hotel will be attested in compliance with the international standards. The company-constructor has already obtained enabling documentation and signed an investment contract with the Minsk oblast executive committee. The construction has already been launched. Specialists have studied the experience of foreign countries in motorway service development. One of the German companies has been invited to develop the project. Investment into the project will total nearly $12 million. “We hope the hotel will enjoy great popularity due to its location near Minsk airport. We will provide services to both tourists and transit passengers,” Lyudmila Nichvayuk said. She stressed that the state pays great attention to the motorway service development. This project has been supported by the local authorities and the government. Agorabel has already implemented several construction projects in Minsk.
